Does it just happen with a certain PDF?
When the PDF doesn't print, can this user print from other applications?
Can this user print to a soft printer when this issue pops up?
When the issue occurs have you checked the print spooler to ensure that it is started?
Is there possibly some sort of AD/GPO that may be causing this with this end user?
Can this user print this PDF using another PC?
Can another user print from this user's PC?
